In fact, if it arrived fully oxidized from the start, many of the finer details would probably become less visible after a year of use, so I completely understand and appreciate that decision. In any case, I am extremely happy with it and wear it with pride. It is a great conversation starter and a nice way to connect with fellow enthusiasts of paleontology and the history of life on our planet. Detailed, elegant and well articulated piece. Excellent representation, down to tiny details, such as the compoun eyes. It moves with you and looks fantastic on my silver navajo pearl-style chain. I think this is my favorite piece from this seller thus far.
