The Tino uses a Schmidt number 5 stainless steel medium nib, which writes very smoothly. The ability to obtain other size nibs (fine, medium, broad, extra fine, etc. ) gives you added flexibility in what you can do with your Tino. I have had very positive experiences with these nibs. I recommend trying them out if you are looking to enhance your writing experience, especially if you are not sure if want to purchase another Tino just yet.

It’s great quality. I wanted to try a different nib as I’m a medium girl. I ordered a fine nib so just some getting used too.

The extra-fine nib is so smooth and is a nice writer (middle ground between wet and dry). I gave this four stars because it does unscrew easily if you use the brass component as a grip rather than the resin/acrylic body of the pen. Highly recommend!
