I love the Tunisian crochet hooks. The hooks are smooth and glide through my stitches. Perhaps what I love most are the attached cables. They hold a lot of stitches, but more importantly, they rotate freely of the hook, meaning I can turn the hook without having to redistribute all of the stitches. Great hooks!

I started Tunisian crochet about a year ago and have been “hooked” since. Originally using aluminum hooks l have made countless small projects like pot holders, which gives me joy to pass along to friends and family. When it came to larger projects like an afghan or baby blanket, l couldn’t get used to the short 6 inch stainless steel hooks with cables. This hook was the only one I could find at 9 inches. At first I didn’t like the feel of the wood, it didn’t glide as smoothly as the steel. Since l crochet very tight, it was initially a struggle to get the right “feel” and rhythm of my stitches. Problem solved by lightly buffing with a nail buffer then polishing. l now concentrate on looser stitches and the hook works beautifully. I can honestly say that my new hook has become my favorite. Just the feel of the longer hook makes a big difference, my stitches look great and I am coming along on a baby blanket for my cousin’s granddaughter. I would highly recommend paying a little extra for this hook because it will become your favorite as well.

Best Tunisian hooks I have used! The yarn just glides over the hook. I will definitely buy more.
