New brakes for old Stumpjumper

My old Juicy 5’s finally gave out and needed new brakes for my old Specialized Stumpjumper Comp. I’m no bike mechanic but determined to do the job on my own. Was able to ensure these would work by chat and email with Wheel and Sprocket. Gear arrived and was new in the box. There was very little instruction with the brakes so Youtube was my friend. Ended up needing to purchase a bleed kit with some Shimano oil so would recommend that. The specialized tool to cut the tube and insert the barb is also a great idea but I used a chain tool to press the barb in and a sharp razor blade to cut. This is necessary only to adjust for extra tube length. Install was simple and the brakes work great!

Just Awesome! Shimano Deore m6120 brakes

Picked this up to replace my 2-piston Shimano brakes. Haven’t put them to the test yet, trails are still closed. Just bedded in the brakes and riding it around the neighborhood. I can feel the difference in stopping power vs my old 2-piston. Great bang for the bucks.
