Originally I purchased this to gift someone, but I was so intrigued that I used it on my trip to TN. This bag is absolutely awesome. It's built so well & durable and has tons of room. There was a surprise compartment that I easily slid shoes in. Hands down the duality is the best, & they thought of everything adding the wheel cover- nice touch! Now I'm interested in the duffle check-in from this line. Really, I can't rave enough about this bag; I was happily surprised with all the features. Béis always impresses me but this backpack is so good! Yeah, it was purchased to gift, but it's mine now 👊🏾.

Beautifully Designed with a Few Practical Tradeoffs

As someone who travels constantly with my airline pilot husband, I was looking for a bag that could handle frequent travel while still feeling thoughtfully designed and aesthetically pleasing. As a designer (and former bag product designer) myself, I'm probably more particular than most. The aesthetics are excellent. It's clean and refined. The materials both look and feel premium, and there are several thoughtful touches that stand out. The padded handle is a wonderful surprise and makes a noticeable difference when rolling the bag. I love the interior mesh pocket material: breathable while still feeling substantial and durable. The biggest reasons I chose this bag was the backpack functionality; being able to throw it on my back when navigating train stations, staircases, places without escalators, or even the occasional trail to a campsite is incredibly useful. My biggest criticism is stability. If I don't keep a pair of shoes—or some other sturdy item—in the lower shoe compartment, the bag struggles to stay upright when my MacBook is stored in the front laptop compartment. It becomes noticeably front-heavy and tips over. As a former bag designer, this feels like a significant oversight in the weight distribution and structure of the bag. I've found a workaround by keeping that area packed, but having a bag that wants to tip over is a disappointing surprise and remains my biggest hesitation in recommending it without reservation. One final note: I ordered the black version, but if this bag came in a walnut I would have chosen that immediately.

Compact enough for carry on... spacious to bring everything i Need ... light enough to wear as a backpack 🥰
