Best hardshell pants!

I’ve only had the chance to use the Himali Monsoon Hardshell 2.0 pants once so far, in light rain, but I came away very impressed. They were comfortable, lightweight, and kept me completely dry throughout the outing. The fit was great, and the full-length side zippers make them easy to put on and take off over boots. Based on the quality of the materials and construction, I’m confident they’ll hold up well in heavier rain and more demanding conditions too. So far, I’m very happy with them and look forward to using them on future trips.

Great pants

Well fitted, sufficiently stretchy waterproof pants. Super comfy, I wore it on several treks in Norway, left in on even after the rain stopped. Waterproofing has held up great.

Excellent Hardshells

I am completely satisfied with these hardshells! I recently took them on a 6000m technical ascent in the Himalayas and they surpassed expectations in every way. The material is incredibly durable; it held up to scrapes against multiple rocky faces throughout the climb. The reinforced in-step is also great to protect against the occasional stray crampon step. A friend had un-reinforced pants and his ankle area was shredded to pieces. The full length zipper was a game changer too. Could easily adjust to the temperature as the night and day wore one. The only thing I can't verify is how rain proof they are in a downpour (we only had snow and sun). But given the overall construction and quality, I can only imagine it's top notch in heavy rain. If you're looking to buy rain gear for a more tame adventure or are looking for an everyday hardshell, this one might be overkill. But I would say it's a must for any adventure in the greater ranges or the more extreme parts of the world. Would buy from this brand again!
