I am a black woman with course hair and this product worked very well on my hair without me having to rip, pull and detangle it . The permanent die is very permanent and it did not damage my hair at all. even with me by the incorrect volume of developer. Great product but does stain not skin but clothes, carpet, towels and things like that. Other than that no complaints .
