Fun and interactive
I bought Stack-chan to have a small, customizable desktop robot. After about a month of use:
Pros
Adorable, sturdy design and compact size.
Preassembled, so it’s ready to use right away with no building required.
The question-and-answer interaction is what I liked most: it makes the robot lively and fun to use.
Open-source project, so it’s customizable (though I haven’t tried that yet).
Cons
It sometimes fails to turn on, possibly because of an unreliable internal cable. Connecting it to a power supply solves it.
I would have loved for it to be able to search for news on the internet: as it stands, its features are fairly limited.
Final verdict: A fun gadget, ideal for enthusiasts who enjoy experimenting. With better reliability and a few more features, it would be even easier to recommend.
