Serene Ⅰ - Barefoot Mules

Love these . Very comfortable, easy to get on and off with no need to unbuckle straps. Wearing now in winter both with and without tights. I imagine they will also be cool enough in summer because of the open work design. Great neutral colour, works with many outfits and sits nicely on the more dressy/ less sporty side of the barefoot range at an affordable price.

I didn’t like the thick plastic innersole which makes the feet feel slippery. I would have thought innersoles go against the ethos of barefoot shoes. Also I felt there was no proper support at the sides so I feel I could easily go over on my ankle. I did like the colour, I shall only wear them indoors as slippers. I don’t think there’s enough support for street walking. I was extremely disappointed with this item. I have 3 other pairs of your shoes which are much better quality.

The shoes are too big for me which is far from ideal but the main problem is of quality. Both of the tie bars fell off on the first time I wore the shoes. I had to find a screw driver to secure the bar back onto the shoe and if I hadn't had a screwdriver I would have struggled, given that I need the bar behind me shoes to keep them on. Really you should be doing better than this
