Love serum, shaver is meh

I've used Nood Serum for almost a year and it's amazing. Ingrown hairs disappeared and leaves my skin smooth. The shaver, however, is just meh. I was hoping for a shaver that worked well on my face and groin, but it just doesn't quite cut it. I always have errant hairs the shaver doesn't cut. The blades are recessed around the moisture ring, so I feel it's not getting enough skin contact for a quality shave. The moisture ring is AMAZING. Creates great glide and reduces nicks, but this is not much use if I don't get the shave I want. I have passed the shaver along to my wife, who does like it. She doesn't have thick hair, but says it works great on her legs. Win-win for both of us. I'll stick with my Leaf razor and Cremo shave cream and keep purchasing the kit.
