I used cast iron most of the time to cook in or carbon steel.And this cooking tallow, is perfect for that application.It gets hot before it starts to smoke.And that's nice.

I’m afraid you’ll have to send me ideas of how to use this.. I have another jar of this and I really need info. He only tallow I’ve actually been using (to cook) is the rendered fat that came off of my smoked brisket.

Tallow gave our meatballs an added boost of flavor!
My husband just cooked some meatballs in some of the tallow and Oh My word, were they delicious! I can't say enough good things about the meet we received in our bundle. I've never had a steak taste that good! And the bacon, like Ms. Betty says, if you aren't eating Brown Pearcy bacon you are living in sin. Every bite has been yumalicious!
