Alpinestars SMX-6 V3 Black Vented Boots

I am replacing my old pair with the current model. These are largly the same. I do prefer the older V2 model though as the leather panels in the articulated areas is more durable and sould than the mesh, textile grade construction. That is my only complaint. I have been using the v2 version for years due to the aluminum toe sliders and overal excellence of fit and internal padding and sculpting. Crash tested repeatedly and does a better job than my other rst boots did.
