Mini Speedmount

Not too bad, but………………

The Mini Speed Mount was easy to assemble. The magnets are extremely strong and holds on to my truck well. I also added the clear plexiglass top. I had my mini put together and on my truck in less than 5 minutes. There really isn’t much to it. I was actually thinking for some reason, it was a stronger plastic like polymer. Especially for $250. It actually cost more than the mini. However, it’s just two plastic pieces that bolt together and hold the mini. The only issue I have for the mount is the air gaps. I had to take silicone and fill the gaps to stop the whistling. Once I hit 60, it would start to whistle violently. A much as this costs for two pieces of plastic, it should have a tighter fit and not whistle. This is an honest review from an honest reviewer!!

Amazing product and customer service!

Purchased Starlink mini speedmount for my fiberglass truck camper. This mount has been nothing short of amazing. Works exactly as advertised. Had one small issue, but the folks at Trio immediately helped resolve it, and were eager to offer their assistance to get the issue resolved. I would absolutely recommend their mounts, and theirs would be the first and only one I’d purchase again if I ever need to another mount. Thanks, Trio!

Awesome mount, love the sleek and low profile design. The black blends in pretty well with my gloss black vehicle. As far as improvement goes I think the cover that. Got for it to protect it from hail should be standard and included in the order. It looks incomplete without it. I love the cover and I think and hope it’s worth the extra money I spent on it but it definitely should be a standard to the order. My only and biggest complaint are the instructions. The instructions only include putting together the standard flat mount. If a customer purchases the flat mount with the VHB and rubber coated pads and the hail cover like I did, I think it should all be included step by step in the instructions how to assemble it. Other than that I have no complaints so far. Would be cool if trio included a recommended wire routing Manuel for installation or a permanent mounting Manuel. So far I’m just running it under weather stripping in between the door. Thanks trio you guys are awesome! Thanks for making a cool mount.
