First Aid Stash Card: Credit Card Size Waterproof EDC Wallet Pouch

I received my stash card (and other cool EDC) recently. What's not to love? Perfect for my minimalist wallet. It holds what you need in a pinch and it's water/grimeproof. Great price too. Travel light and still be prepared for the unexpected!

Less storage than expected

This is a really neat idea, but the execution isn't ideal for my planned purposes. It's essentially a foil zipper-seal pouch, but the edges have a pretty wide pressed seal (3/16") and the zippered part is recessed too deep (9/16") and ends up wasting a lot of space in my opinion. I wasn't able to comfortably hold more than two tightly folded bandaids before it bulged/puffed up to an uncomfortable degree, so I ended up using it as dry storage for very thin travel soap sheets folded in half, which has been working OK so far. To be fair, my aim was to keep it relatively thin for a Ridge-style wallet, and it may be fine to be lumpy/puffy in a more traditional wallet. With that said, I'm sure it would also be fine if you are just using it to hold 2 - 4 of their microtools or dogtag tools without the sticky backing (or sandwiched back to back with it). I'd happily buy another one if they could securely narrow the edge seals and bring the zipper to the outer edge of the mouth, which would substantially increase the inner storage space, or even add a small raised buffer to the seal that matches the zippered width to make for more even expansion and a more uniform fit in a wallet. I'll be watching for a version 2 in the future. :)
