Great Product but what is that unused wire that's covered with a small dab of sealer for?

Please tell me it can operate a brake light based from the controllers EBS system.

Replacement Controller

A Replacement controller (2nd) for one that failed after 3300 km's - likely user fault due to power spike with intermittent power contact. Original that came with motor-wheel was DOA, and had to be RMA'd. Requires a connection to be soldered in place. Easily enough done with a soldering iron. Easy installation into motor wheel. Only just installed controller yesterday and powered up to confirm operational, two weeks after purchase. Yet to reinstall motor-wheel.
