I have tried other brands, and what I like about Fish Monkey is the neck area is flanged for better protection. I wear Fish Monkey neck gator(s) daily. I work in a naval shipyard and cannot stand applying sunblock as the grit attaches to the sunblock. Very messy by the end of shift. I also wear them golfing, pool side, yard work and sport fishing in Mexico. Pretty much anytime I am outside I have a Fish Monkey neck gator on. They are light weight and super easy to clean. At the end of the day I wet them in the sink then use Fels-Naptha soap bar to clean them, rinse and hang dry.

The material is comfortable, easy to breathe and protection is perfect, the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is that when the face guard is around your neck, it keeps turning and the back seam tends to twist towards the front, it becomes annoying throughout the day having to keep looking for the front. Otherwise, I do love and recommend this face guard.
