Broken and unusable
Updated after using this for a while. It's a failure. If your pour rate is too low, it will stop. I thought this happens only if you're really low, but boy was I wrong. Naked portafilter and this scale do not mix. To me, there's no worse bug for an espresso scale than deciding your pour is done - at something like 5.61g, no less, as if that was even an espresso. But it gets worse. So the timer stops, the weight functionality stops. Now I am left completely guessing my pour, because my lovely scale decided it's done. It won't bother to show anything. Maybe, next time, at least update the weight if it increases after the timer decides it's done? No? Well, thanks Acaia for nothing. The following I guess still applies. I just feel like it's useless: The size and accuracy of this thing is simply amazing. It fits nicely under my flair 58 with the drip tray on, which is where my lunar struggled. The navigation through the menu is also much easier. But the software is half-baked - there's many annoying tiny bugs. When you plug it to charge, it turns on, even though it can't be used with the cable, and the charging indicator just occasionally blinks. Brew history is inaccurate and there's no way to clear it (I pull espressos around 1.2 flow rate. It says 5.6 now and goes up after every pull. I mean, math is hard, I get it, but still.) You need to refer to the Lunar manual for the meaning of many settings. Luckily, all these should be solvable with the firmware update. It will be a great product - one day.

Incredibly responsive and fun to use. As high as the price is there isn't a better espresso scale.
