Alpine RUX-KNOB.2 Remote Bass Knob

Nice add. However…

I added this to my Bronco with a complete Alpine S system. It works great. Some radio stations overdrive the sub-level frequencies in their broadcasts and you’ll need to squelch them. Otherwise your high rider will sound like a low rider. ;) However, after I completed the install with cables all routed, I found that the PAC includes a sub gain knob with a different long cable. So check to see if your equipment already includes a gain knob with cable. Then route that PAC knob cable with the other lines that go to the dash. Install videos don’t show the inclusion of a gain controller with the system. It would be nice to add a flag to the cable with the PAC that says “ROUTE WITH WIRES TO DASH”

So the bass knob works but it needs some improvement the cable needs to be a little longer especially if you are mounting the amp on the drivers side of the vehicle and also need to have an improved mounting option to allow just the knob to be visible instead of the hole body of the unit

I'm happy I chose to buy the bass knob, it eliminates me having to adjust the bass on the amplifier.
