Very powerful chainsaw. However, the chain keeps getting loose and I have to stop to adjust it.

It was reasonable priced and came in two days which both of these gets BILT HARD two thumbs up. Easy of starting and the cutting of fallen trees earns 2 more thumbs up.

A very good chainsaw

I already have a 16" Husqvarna and needed something with more horsepower for larger cutting work. I read the negative reviews on the Bilt Hard and I did have my concern, but upon receiving the Bilt Hard, most of the concerns vanished upon seeing the quality. I first pulled the spark plug and pull the start rope a couple time. It has a smooth spin. While in the air filter compartment for the spark plug I noticed Bilt Hard changed to a washable air filter instead of the paper pleat. This is a plus in my book. I also easily located the throttle adjustment and I studied how the choke lock works. Reassembled and fueled the chain saw. Followed the instructions on cold starting. The chain saw sputtered on the 4th pull and was running on the 5th pull. My Husqvarna is harder to start so I am so far very pleased with the Bilt Hard. I haven't tried it on cutting yet but I don't expect to be disappointed. I ordered a NGK BPM plug to replace the original L8R and a set of Kakei chains. In my opinion, these are the weak points of the Bilt Hard. Would I buy again - you bet!!
