Surf Sling Tan/Black

Love it!

Perfect for carrying your board to the beach and love the pocket for my phone/wax/sunblock! I bought 2 and I am going to buy another one for the family. I also love how it can zip up into a large bag - i use that to put my wet clothes or towel in there after I'm done carrying my board. so many uses, awesome.

Practical and Helpful

As advertised, a functional way to transport your board (and a few other things -- I keep my leash in the zip, keys, phone, no problem) to the beach. Was especially helpful this last beach trip where it was over a mile walk to where we needed to go. I've done that walk just with arms and it was so much easier.

Almost there but…

High quality materials and seems to be well made. A few things that would vastly improve this design, however: First, having to choose between using this as a sling (and carrying your towel and other misc beach items in a separate bag), OR using this as a bag and carrying your board under your arm makes this product far less useful. Adding a third layer of canvas would allow you to use it as a sling AND a bag at the same time. Maybe that kind of product already exists out there. But that doesn’t make it less of a design issue. Second, the straps are narrow and rough. Adding a padded fabric underside (where the strap makes contact with your shoulder or your hands) would be a major improvement in comfort and quality. I would bet many people using a sling to carry their board are carrying a log with some weight. More comfort would be nice. Lastly, when the sling zips up into a bag, there are large openings left in the bottom corners. A good way to lose your car keys, phone, or wallet on the beach without knowing it. This seems like a simple fix. I would pay more for this product if it could address these issues.
