Chihiros Double Tap Quick Connector

I haven’t used it yet, but the idea of having to screw or unscrew it makes me uneasy. I was wondering if there was a smarter way to do it. Bending and turning the hose with the pipe attached makes me nervous about disassembling the connector. An alternative locking system, such as a half-turn and snap mechanism, would be ideal.

Product is ok but plastics.

Well packaged and well made strong materials look great.
