Wapta 30

Wapta 30

Received the pack in record time, thanks for the quick shipping! First impressions of the Wapta are high build quality, super light, and comfortable to wear. So far I've only used it for a hike into Black Mountain area to bring my DJII Mini 5 Pro drone to do some flying. Plenty of room for the drone kit, extra cloths and some food and drink for the day. I'm 6 ft 1" , 40" waist and the large pack and large belt fit fine. I did a quick mod on the chest strap ends. I found the opening tip of them was curled up, so I heated and flattened them, and then sanded them so they are completely flat on top to be more friendly to my phone screen in the stretch pocket. Overall a great pack and I'm looking forward to using it hiking. All the best to everyone at Durston!

Perfect pack for long day hikes

Just returned from hiking more than 60 miles on the Rheinsteig with my Wapta, and it performed so well! Perfect capacity for our long day hikes; excellent rain resistance (I did use a lightweight liner as extra insurance); comfortable carry (with hipbelt); easy water bottle access; and yet so light, which I really appreciated on the many steep pitches we encountered. My only critique is the placement of the shoulder strap pockets, which felt just a bit high for me. But that's a minor issue. I'm a big fan of this pack.

Great pack — my wife loved it on the Chain Lakes Loop

Bought the Wapta 30 for my wife and she took it on the Chain Lakes Loop. It fit her well, rode comfortably all day, and everything stayed organized and easy to reach on the trail. Build quality feels excellent for the weight. She's happy with it, which means I'm happy with it.
