What a beautiful way to prepare for a trip to Kyoto. Gorgeous pictures illustrate where you need to go and insightful descriptions tell you how and when to get there and what to do there. This book is an adventure itself.

It was a great intro to Kyoto, cannot really fault it. I gave it 4stars, because I believe the Tokyo guide was better presented.
