Keemum Mao Feng is a smooth, light black tea that is difficult to over-steep or mess up. No astringency or "off" flavors. I drink this every few days with a bit of macadamia milk.

I became a complete convert to whole leaf tea of all kinds 25 years ago after giving up coffee. Starting with whole leaf teas with Republic of Tea in 1994 I bought tea for myself and my Bento restaurant. We served 20 different whole leaf teas. It was my pleasure to discover the entrepreneur behind Tao of Tea in my backyard in 1996 and have been an ardent customer there ever since. This black Keemun Mao Feng is my go to wake up tea year round. The consistency in quality of this tea year over year has been excellent.
