Vineyard Curveback Adirondack Ottoman

After waiting eight weeks for this item to ship—which only happened because I called customer service—it arrived damaged. The ottoman has three deep gouges and several scratches due to inadequate packaging. For a $200 piece of furniture, wrapping it without proper foam or carding protection is unacceptable. Skimping on basic protective materials renders what should be a new piece of furniture looking worn and ruined on arrival. I cannot recommend this company until significant improvements are made to both shipping fulfillment and transit protection.

I really like the ottoman but quality control is slipping. To pay $159 and wait four weeks (made to order I assume) and one of the slates is not lined up correctly. My OCD kicks in. Quality checks should have caught that and sent it to the clearance section. I was thinking of purchasing another Adirondack chair and ottoman but will probably hold up for now. Too expensive to not get A+ craftsmanship.
