SwitchBot Evaporative Humidifier

Not as advertised

The humidifier itself is good quality but the smart features, though equipped, aren’t accessible unless you have a Switchbot hub and meter pro. I wish I was aware of this before I purchased. Seems misleading to say it has smart features but not be upfront with all the extras needed to make them work

Great device

Works well and is easy to clean which is a huge plus. My only complaint is the minimum humidity you can set is 40%. It should allow down to at least 30%. 40% is too high when temps outside drop below freezing. I’m fighting dry NYC winters and 40% leads to insane condensation indoors on windows and sills. As a workaround I have to “calibrate” the hygrometers 10% higher.

Works well

Like the design and ease of operation. In SwitchBot app would like a remote view of water level. Would also like to see an increase in number of matter devices supported by hub.
