Shimano Poison Ultima- Casting

It's definitely not a rod that is needed for 99.8% of anglers, but if you have the disposable income and want to try a high-end rod, you can't go wrong here. Extremely light and responsive, the uniquely shaped carbon handle really does transmit vibrations. Is worth the extra $200 over the NRX+ or Legend Xtreme? I'd say it's barely noticeable. And if you own a Conquest, it's even less so and you're likely paying more for the material. ULTIMAtely, you won't regret the purchase but most will be better off with a slightly cheaper rod and pairing it with a higher end reel.
