Brim is my enemy

The build, style, and comfort of this 5 panel are all incredible! Unfortunately the brim is a dealbreaker. It feels like a thin foam and always returns to this misshapen form with odd bends/bump on one side. I put it on and within a minute or so there is an odd duck-bill thing happening on one side. I love the rest of it, but the brim makes this a waste of money for me.
