Note this is for 12GB original not 8GB lite current version
I bought this for my sister just before unihertz downgraded the Jelly max 5G from the original 12GB RAM to this average 8GB version for the same price and ALL reviews prior to this are for the 12GB version as originally promised during their kickstarter campaign. My sister wanted a good performance slightly smaller new phone to replace her old Samsung Galaxy 8... it was a bit of a faff to move data across manually as the two phones would not connect via the google set up my new phone wizard... The unihertz Android 15 is quite different from other devices Android 15 and required significant exploration as the documentation was very lacking. I was considering buying one for myself because of the performance and interfaces and construction method making it easy to self-repair but since they have downgraded the item to 8GB RAM ONLY and at the same price I paid for the 12GB original I am now looking elsewhere. Shipping was prompt and well tracked and there were no import vat issues. My sister is happier with the size and customised UI I've managed to configure for her compared to the old Samsung and works much better with heavy weight apps that made the old phones struggle. System information app I found revealed the 12GB RAM edition was also configured with a 11GB paging partition which has so far never been written to because of the more than adequate RAM provision. The new 8GB RAM lite edition will likely utilise the virtual RAM with heavy use which will reduce the internal FLASH memory longevity.

Great Little Phone
This is my 3rd Jelly, started with the 2E then the Jelly Star and moved up to the big brother the Jelly Max to get a little more screen real estate. Great phone but would have like it to be a little lighter and given up some of the battery wattage for a lighter package. Also I do miss the 3.5 in headphone jack that I used to connect to my older car audio input for music and navigation.

One hand operation was needed
Bought for my brother who is one-handed (left paralyzed). He has one hand to hold the phone and reach everything with his thumb. I'm so happy I found this phone. He's having a little trouble with face recognition but I believe it's because his room is kinda dark. Thank you for making a smaller phone, it really helps handicap people. It's working well for my brother so far.
