Passed the Test for stress relief & comfort

I’d say the Downtowners take a minute to break in since they are leather shoes. The fit is more structured than on the Eastsider and it’s clearly a well constructed shoe. The main test is allowing me to stand for long periods of time as I had a significant ankle/lower leg injury in one leg and significant soft tissue damage/injury in the other foot. It’s been a Godsend thus far and I am thankful to have found Deming.

Remarkably comfortable, non-fatiguing shoe

I live and work in NYC, which requires a bit of walking, several miles a day if my watch is accurate. I’ve been wearing these shoes to work for a month now and I’ve got to say, they truly are remarkably comfortable. Very supportive and my feet aren’t tired or sore after wearing them. My only issue is me…that is to say, I think I got a half size too large. I’m usually a 42/9, but despite the fact that Deming offers European half sizes (which is very unique, I think) I didn't get the 41.5. I think would have resulted in less heel movement. But that said, they’re still wonderful; so it’s more compliments to the designers on a comfortable, supportive shoe & the idea to have European half sizes, as well and a word to wise to take advantage of them. In short, I’m very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend them to friend, family, and stranger alike.

No more UGLY recovery slides!

I absolutely love my Deming’s! I no longer have to wait until I’m home to slip on my OOFOS slides - now I’m recovering all day long in my Deming’s!
