I grew up in Akubras. Being from Macleay Valley it was a no brainer given the Kempsey factory. Have to say, even if these are made outside Australia in Sri Lanka, Statesman are quality. I use mine every day out in the paddocks with the horses. The light colour is great in summer, l already have a well worn black for winter. At near a third the price of my Akubras, these hats are the workhorses on our place. And they stand up to pretty heavy abuse from both me and the horses. Love them.
