quality bag with major flaw / oversight

TLDR; the sewn in velcro is failing after a year of very light use. I've had this bag for a little over a year and the velcro is already falling. This wouldn't be an issue if Swift utilized the webbing ladder attachment system for all of the top tube attachment points, as this would allow you to replace the velcro once it starts to loose its grip. However, the middle attachment point is sewn into the bag, which means your only option to replace it is to haphazardly sew additional velcro onto it or take the entire bag apart and replace the velcro / add another webbing ladder in the center. I would give the bag 5-stars if the velcro was higher quality or was easily replaceable. The velcro is so bad that small bumps / potholes cause it to come undone, even when carrying a very light load.

Just Buy It Already!

I originally purchased this for my Surly Karate Monkey; the fit was not ideal for the Monkey's frame geometry, a smaller size would have worked better. It's found a home on my Long Haul Trucker, perfect fit. Lots of room. Secure fit. The build quality is superb. I commute on my bike and having a well built, reliable product is super important. I had used other products which ailed to live up to the hype. Local company always a plus!

Sturdy, solid and a perfect fit

I used the bag once so far, on an overnight gravel tour, and it provided a great space for small and medium-sized stuff that you want close at hand. The bag was easy to attach and felt 100% sturdy and solid. The volume doesn’t quite feel 4L but does fit an amazing amount.
