It’s perfect!
Prior to purchasing the Catalyst Pack, I had previously bought a Bandito Bag and an Acme Tech Tote. In both instances, the Swift products are larger than other brands with comparable listed specs.
With that in mind, I confidently ordered a Catalyst knowing that the listed specs will be true to size. Sure enough, it is! I am able to fit my bulky u-lock and cable inside the Catalyst, along with tools, keys, wallet, cellphone, and snacks with room to spare. The profile photo below shows it stuffed with all the aforementioned items plus a hoodie! It looks overstuffed, but it all fit! Please note that I am using a Restrap Bumper Bar with the bag, which makes it stand off quite a bit from the head tube. I liked it so much that I ordered the previous version of the Catalyst at a discount. They are both great, but the newer one seems more durable and higher quality.

Needed something a little smaller, the catalyst was it.
I have the zeitgeist pack, but I was getting ready for a short bike tour and the zeitgeist with my panniers seemed like too much. The catalyst was the perfect size. I love it.

Perfect companion for the Zeitgeist
I alreadyowned the Zeitgeist so knew what I was getting with quality.These bags are simply the best. I am able to fit everything I need for camping in them. Easy to install and love the bungee area on top.Fits perfect in between my Specialized Diverge handlebars and on my Yuba Mundo cargo bike.
