Adaptev Headlamp - Inertial Gyroscope LED Rechargeable Smart Head Lamp

Bright lights. Good battery life. But, that’s where the party ends. The main led is like a spotlight and aims about 15-20 degrees higher than line of sight. Bad. The adaptive portion is fancy tech but it doesn’t work as expected… sure, move your head, light gets applied in that direction. But, that very same directional light fades to black after only seconds. Very bad. Shouldn’t that light stay put until you move your head again? Too bad it doesn’t accept firmware updates to address that. The main beam aiming is a whole other issue that can be resolved, if someone is willing to place a wedge between the lamp and their forehead? I dunno what the heck happened here. I own most of, and multiples of, panther visions products. But the usability of this adaptev headlight is a real head scratcher. And expensive, even with the early bird discount. Prolly should have returned it, but I don’t make time to deal with small hassles like that. Wait for G2 I say. But, at the cost of reengineering…
