The only reason I gave it a 4 rating is I thought it was going to be slightly bigger but it works great !! Now my needles ( and even pins ) slide through material much easier--game changer in my opinion !!

It does sharpen and that is the function that I bought it for, so I am not mad. Smaller than I thought. Just bigger in circumference than a quarter and not really thick either. So, with hand aches it is a little hard to grip something so small. The size does make it super easy to fit into a sew-n-go bag. The magnet is not super strong. That is both good and bad depending on your needs. It will hold your needle for you for a moment and you don't have to fight to get it back. To help pick up dropped pins, there is better things.
