Lavender Lemon Cold Brew

Nice lavender taste but can be strong

This is a nice lavender blend, but like another review noted, when cold brewed, it was very strong and overpowered the taste. I found that a 50/50 split between this and regular beans gave me the right amount of lavender flavor. I used it in espresso at full strength and felt it was perfect and didn't need adjusting. Overall a solid coffee, you just might need to adjust the strength/blend to your liking. (Note: I've tried other flavors that didn't overpower like this one did.)

More lavender lemon than cold brew

This is an odd blend that some people will hate and some will love. The lavender lemon flavor is quite good, but it completely overpowers the coffee. If the thought of a dark, smokey lavender lemon drink excites you, this is the cold brew for you. Personally, though, I want even my flavored coffees to be coffee first with a nice something extra, especially when the coffee is a good one like Stone Street. I did try making a batch of 1 part lavender lemon to 2 parts cold brew reserve, which made the flavors more even, but even then, the lavender lemon and the coffee flavors seemed to fight rather than blend, so I can see why they went all in on the lavender lemon.
