Sky-Watcher Wave 150i Strainwave Mount (S30905)

Monture de grande qualité. On sent tout de suite la robustesse et la performance de l'engin. La connectivité électrique et réseau est bien pensée. Toutes les molettes de réglages sont précises. Le déplacement en RA et en DEC est rapide, précis et silencieux. Bref, c'est un achat fortement conseillé.

Seems ok, but user testing appears to have been rushed.

The mount seems ok and tracks well. There are a couple annoying useability issues. The azimuth adjusters for polar alignment are EXTREAMLY stiff. Declination adjustment is fine, but I find it easier to physically rotate the mount on my pier for polar alignment. You must use 90 degree cables on the mount panel else they can get sheared off by your scope's mounting bar. Your only have 1 USB port on the saddle, forcing you to add a USB HUB if you have a camera that doesn't have a hub. Finally the SynScan software has a bug that makes it impossible to confirm alignment with a star without backing out of the screen and going back in. Also it appears the scope won't track unless it has been star aligned. Hopefully plate solving will satisfy its desire for alignment. If I have to star align every time to get tracking started I'll sell the mount immediately. All of these suggest the user testing was rushed. Hopefully the basics of goto functions, slewing and weight capability work as I am mounting my C11 today. We'll see....

Good product and fast service

This is my 3rd Sky Watcher Product and could not be happier with what will become my portable mount. Impressed at how fast shipping was and the condition of the packaging on arrival. Getting great guiding, even under some poor seeing conditions.
