MyFit Pencil Skirt

Probably awesome for knits, not as great (so far) for woven fabrics

I can see that this tool would be great for creating pencil skirts out of knit fabrics, where you probably won't need a zipper. I find the instructions quite difficult to follow as they jump around, especially when using a contour waistband with a zipper as you'd probably want to do with a woven fabric. I've sewn many pencil skirts before so I am just going it my way, but for a less experienced sewist, there could be some trouble. There's no provision for lining your skirt which you might want to do with a woven pencil skirt, especially if the fabric is a bit more delicate. If you choose to enter measurements for a tilted pelvis, be conservative with how much difference you put between center front and center back - the results were surprising and a bit weird, but I am intrigued to tweak this measurement and see what I come up with over a few renditions. I think the result once I've worked on my inputs to the generator will be quite satisfying so I'm giving this a "middle" review.

Exactly what we needed!

I used this pattern to make a skirt for my daughter's semi formal outfit. The ability to enter custom measurements to have the pattern generated exactly as she wanted it is fantastic, instead of having to try to modify it myself. This pattern will definitely get used many times.

A Pencil Skirt that is super customizable!

I love all the custom choices that are offered in this pattern. Ive made a knit one and Im so happy with it. The best thing is I can make as many different skirts as I want with one pattern. Apostrophe is my favorite.
