Great fix!

This part fixed a washer that used to shake so bad it walked across the room! I would give it 5 stars except I had to sand down the outermost portion of the part to achieve a good seating fit. Not a big deal but having sandpaper on hand - and doing dry fits - are both things to consider before fully seating this part into the wash tub. Highly recommend watching Ben's videos and trying this repair before buying a new washer, it's totally worthwhile.

Quality Bushing

This bushing was well made and had good tolerances. It had both a snug fit into the drum as well on to the transmission shaft. This required seating the bushing with a hammer and a piece of pipe. The snug fit minimizes drum wobble and shaking. Tip: I utilized Loctite Marine Anti-Seize on the mating surfaces of the splined shafts to prevent them from corroding again. I had a dickens of a time removing the agitator. I had to utilize a bottle jack, a chain, and a couple of 2x4 block across the top of the cabinet to remove it.

After ordering the item, I followed along with your helpful video. Replacing the washing machine parts fixed all issues! Everything is working great now, shocks are back to normal, and the metal bracket also helped a lot.
