Exactly what was expected on an older setup, we purchased a uaed Travel Trailer that had the lock but no remote. Purchased 2 of these as a back up to the touch pad and they synced with no problem and worked Exactly as expected

Great quality and wish that we would have installed it sooner. What a great peace of mind.
