I was so drawn to the Kulpurru Brooch as I love magpies. The Google-oogle (magpie) is a beautiful and clever bird who serenades me in my garden each evening. The thing I love most about this brooch is that she has so many subtle layers of colour wrapped up in a contemporary Indiginous design making her a delight to wear.
