GameSir Pocket Taco -Voltage Purple

Fiddly pairing with an iPhone, and A and B are swapped by default, as are X and Y. Also, the GameSir app created two pairings with dofferent names. Once I deleted the GameSir app, deleted all the pairing entries, rebooted my iPhone, and reset the Pocket Taco, I was able to pair successfully and Delta saw the controller, but the Pocket Taco ignored all of Delta’s key remappings. Fortunately, I found instructions on GameSir’s website to hard swap the A-B, X-Y button mappings on the controller. Finally, it worked. When shipping emulator controllers, all mode configuration button combos should be included in the manual. Also, manufacturers should default to original mappings. A is A. B is B. It’s not hard. So two stars taken away for a janky, obtuse setup that wasted my time. The device works well, has a good build, has responsive buttons, and it delivers an authentic experience with my iPhone as a GameBoy. I love the atomic purple styling. I’ve had fun using it so far.
