Quality of leather looks good. One of the three embossed initials was not done deep enough which detracted from the appearance

Very nice journal!

Upon receiving my journal, I immediately said "yeah, this was exactly what I wanted!" Nicely made, looks like it will give me years of service, and it's the perfect size. If I could verify it was made in the States, I would have given it 6 stars.
