The nylon/boar bristle blend is THE way to go. If you are buying a Mason Pearson for the first time, that is the winning combo to go for! Love the size of this one and the fact that it comes with a cleaning brush and care instructions. I personally own the pocket size and while I love it for handily fitting in my purse, if I were to purchase again I would buy this size for daily use. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my sister and it is perfect!
