An item with problems...

This item has problems. The blades are sharp and fine, but the brass body is very weak. It bent out of shape within 5-10 minutes of use, after just a couple uses. The blades no longer sit tightly enough to clip thread. To use it I have to grip it very tightly and forcefully to force the blades together, otherwise it does not clip thread, no matter how many times I try. In that way it is still useable but it got damaged and lost some of the intended function very quickly. I can't really recommend this item due to the weakness of the brass body.
