Just Average Quality

The cardigan is really pretty, and I get compliments wherever I go, but the quality is just average. To begin with, it’s loosely woven and the threads from the pattern are left loose on the inside rather than being securely worked into the cardigan. Not that big a deal, and it is more of an issue of craftsmanship, but since other garments are often given pictures of their interior lining, this could have been pictured as well. Or at least described. Second though, the wool pills after literally a few times of wearing it. This is a sign of short fiber, inferior wool. Fit is ok, but for someone taller, the sleeves fit while the cardigan hits just at the waist ( I wear mid-rise jeans and I do like the shorter fit). Altogether, it’s ok for the sale price, but Filson quality is definitely not what it used to be.
