Replacement Peanut/Sunflower Cage Insert

Great item

This is perfect.I didn't know the parts were interchangeable. I wanted a peanut feeder without buying another feeder. This company has the best products.I have 5 of these feeders,and they work great at keeping the larger birds out.

Fits the feeder perfectly, but cage holes could be larger.

The insert fit my feeder really well, but the smaller birds had a hard time pulling the sunflower seed out from between the cage gaps. I had to cut two 1/2 inch square holes at the bottom of the cage for the birds to get at the seed.

Works as advertised. For my needs added a "catch" tray underneath the cage.

I punched a hole in the bottom of a circular plastic take out dish and mounted the cage over that. It works beautifully together to keep the Starlings from accessing anything the smaller birds may drop. I put a no-mess of mostly small nuts in it. Works well!
