Eclipse Safety Light

Extremely versatile and bright!

The clip, 60 hours and the various modes make this light very good. I use it for dog walking in winter - visibility is key to our safety. Bookman seems to understand this.

For full transparency, I'm getting 20% off my next purchase by making this review, though that won't change my review since I don't have any plans on making a new purchase. They also seem to rank reviews based on highest by default so this might not even be visible to most. In general this is a fairly good light for being visible at night! I'm using it for myself and my dog for outdoor walks. Though it has some minor flaws. Would I buy it again? - maybe, if I don't find any as small rechargeable with dual colored light, water-resistance and lower price point. Pros: - Really bright light with a few options in brightness - Has a red light (with more blinking options) as well as a regular white which is super convenient. - The strong clip makes you be able to put it pretty much anywhere - Long runtime on the lower settings, I think the high white light setting are too bright anyways. - Good build quality, (except for the charging port flap) Cons: - No info on water resistance. The charging port cover is quite flimsy and doesn't fit securely. I cut off the small flap protruding the cover, making it sit flush with the body of the light so I don't accidentally knock it open. Uncertain if the actual USB-C port is water-resistant so we'll se how it holds up over time. I expect this from an outdoor light. - The placement of the button relation to the clip is not optimal, I see myself clicking the button once I use the clip. - No low setting for the red light without a flashing mode which means you only get 2.5h of red light if you don't want to look like a flashing christmas tree. - The orange color doesn't match the picture, it's quite dusty in real life. The white is correct though, I cannot speak for the rest. - Pricey, it cost a lot for a small light though it's rechargeable so the cost is somewhat justified.

easy to operate, handy and very bright! Absolutely love the eclipse and it pairs perfectly with the lightstick. Wheter you need it for cycling, running, walking (like I use it for) it's the perfect light that combines all of that. The only problem I find with it is that both the 1.0 and 2.0 versions do not live up to their 60 hour battery promise. When i'm running the red light then I get about 2-3 hours of operating time before it needs recharging. Also it would have been nice if it came fitted with a green light function. It's already in the product so it would be lovely if you were able to use it. Eventhough the battery, from my experience, doesn't last that long it's still a must have if you ever find yourself in a dark place where there is incoming traffic! Keep yourself save guys!
