Reversible Cast Iron Griddle Sear Kit

Very heavy and made extremely well. It heats up evenly and stays flat (no warping). My only wish was that it didn't have the small slot in it to drain grease or ? onto my drip pan. I would prefer a built-in drip groove. Other than that it's awesome.

I love it works great. It is heavier than I expected and didn't come with a handle to lift it with so you can get your fingers under it when it's cool enough.

Sear kit

I used the search kit for the first time today. I purchased a large and a small one and used them both at the same time. They fit perfectly on my backyard beast 1200. I made flank and skirt steak and lots of it. Turned the temp up to full which took it to 634 degrees max. Cooked 4 skirt steaks on the large kit and 2 flank steaks on the small kit. 2 minutes per side for skirt and 5 minutes per side for flank. Perfectly charred on the outside and medium rare on the inside. I look forward to using these for different kinds of steak like ribeye and sirloin. I didn't clean the plates as i want to keep the flavor for future uses.
