Reversible Cast Iron Griddle Sear Kit

Solid and effective.

Since I started using this sturdy, cast iron sear kit, every piece of meat comes off not only juicy with that signature smoky Recteq flavor but also with brown crusty goodness as if they had been cooked over a direct flame. I would buy it again.

Awesome heavy sear kit

I have used the sear plate twice now and it is heavy, retains heat well, and works with both my patio legend 410, and my road warrior grill. I sear kit is a bit too heavy for me to take out when i'm traveling, but i think it's the perfect accessory for my house. It really upgraded my cooking set up. Glad I purchased it.

Dude! This Thing Is Crazy!

Been a Traeger guy for about 7 years now and both units died around the 3-year mark. Also, I could NEVER turn up either Traeger past 325 degrees, because the thing would just catch on fire. So frustrating. I have now cooked 3 separate large meals on my recteq, including chicken mac and cheese, ribs, and burgers. Wow, wow, wow! Talk about an even cook! The mac and cheese was golden brown on top. Previously, with my Traeger, the edges would be boiling lava, and the middle would be warmish. The recteq has completely saved my summer cooking habits and made my life SO much easier. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
