Marlowe: Doctor Faustus

Superb! This obscure play, by Shakespeare's early contemporary, is evocatively staged and performed by a young cast (Marlowe died at 30) almost as "street theater," so riotous are its scenic stagings and delivery. Almost Elizabethan vaudeville, which masks its defiant and burning messages about sociopolitical matters. SEE IT! Excellent color, subtitles, and performing!
